DR.montessori said the same thing almost 100 years ago! i am a preschool teacher and follow that structure as well-- what a letter is called is much less important than what sound it makes as far as pre-reading skills go anyways.

Glad you are memorizing with your young ones. My favorite Scripture songs at this age are at NIV Kids club. My favorite Scripture memory activity for 7-18 year olds is the National Bible Bee. My favorite free Scripture memory website for encouragement and support is www.memverse.com

I just wanted to let you know that this is the best product out there to
teach your baby to read. I have had this product for about a month, and
my 18 month old knows his body parts now and knows green and blue now. He
asks to watch "the moneys" all the time. If we would let him the monkeys
would be on all the time. I recommend this product to everyone I know and
see that has little ones. This is the most amazing product ever. Thanks
so much!
